# Venge Thingy Privacy Policy

Venge Thingy is a browser extension that provides visual
customization features for venge.io. This policy explains
how the extension handles user data.

## Data Collection

**Venge Thingy does not collect, transmit, or share any
personal data.**

The extension does not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Browsing history
- Usage analytics
- Location data
- Any other user data

## Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally on your
device using Chrome's storage API:
- Your customization preferences (crosshair settings,
  health bar colors, hitmarker options)
- Extension enabled/disabled state
- Number of active asset redirects

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible
to the developer or any third parties.

## Permissions

The extension requires certain permissions to function:
- **Storage**: To save your preferences locally
- **Tabs**: To detect when you're on venge.io and open
  settings
- **declarativeNetRequest**: To redirect game assets to
  custom versions
- **Host permissions (venge.io)**: To inject customization
  scripts into the game

These permissions are used solely for the extension's
core functionality.

## Third Parties

Venge Thingy does not:
- Share data with third parties
- Include analytics or tracking
- Make external network requests
- Use advertising

## Changes

Any updates to this policy will be reflected with a new
"Last updated" date.
